125 people join Represent PA and Turn PA Blue's virtual Breakfast Briefing

This past Tuesday, April 21 we were joined by 125 people on Zoom to hear Represent PA's Executive Director, Christine Jacobs and Jamie Perrapato from Turn PA Blue discuss adjusting their support of candidates during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, why our focus is on House and Senate races across all of Pennsylvania and what districts are flippable in order to turn PA blue. Jacobs and Perrapato spoke about the 4 seats needed to flip the Senate and 9 seats to flip the House. This is incredibly important because candidates who win state legislative races in 2020 will decide who yields power in Washington for a decade. April 2020 Newsletter: Women's Herstory Month

Represent PA celebrated Women's History Month with a dollar-for-dollar match on every new donation or increased gift from existing donors. Through this effort, we were able to raise $22,000 for progressive women candidates in PA. In this newsletter, you'll also find our transition to virtual events and the introduction of new staff. Represent PA has First Virtual Event

April 3rd was our first virtual friendraiser featuring Rep. Jennifer O’Mara, Rep. Elizabeth Hanbidge and Rep. Mary Jo Daley, with a guest appearance from Rep. Brian Sims. What a success, with over 50 participants! During the call, our representatives and Executive Director, Christine Jacobs discussed state legislation begin put forth and how receptive the house is to change, what difference it would make to have a democratic majority and why Represent PA is important when it comes to running for office.
