Meet our Legislators – July 2023

We featured Rep. Patty Kim and Rep. Leanne Krueger in July with a focus on the environment.

  • Representative for HD-103 (Dauphin and Cumberland County) since 2012, the first woman to represent her district
  • Chair of the Aging and Older Adult Services Committee and the first Asian American to serve as Chair of a PA House Committee! Rep. Kim also created the PA Legislative Asian Pacific American Caucus, which she also leads as Chair
  • Served two terms on Harrisburg’s City Council (the second as the council’s Vice President) prior to running for statewide office
  • A former reporter and news anchor who has since become a leader in government transparency in Harrisburg, and one of few House members to share all of their expenses publicly
  • A leading advocate for reforming the Steelton Water Authority when high levels of bacteria were discovered in drinking water, who then secured a $3 million State loan to permanently upgrade its facilities
  • A consistent advocate for raising our state’s minimum wage, investing in our state’s public schools and infrastructure, and addressing environmental issues affecting her state and district.
