December 2021 Newsletter

It's been a whirlwind of a year! Represent PA ended 2021 with a bang by sending out early money to our endorsed candidates before the end-of-year campaign filing deadline. This month, we invested $64,000 in 13 incumbent legislators who are up for re-election in 2022.

In case you missed any of our recent Breakfast Briefings, there are recordings of each event posted on Represent PA's YouTube channel so you can view them at your convenience.

  • In November, we hosted the Executive Directors of three grassroots organizations focused on progressive organizing across PA: Erin Kramer of One PA, Carrie Santoro of Pennsylvania Stands Up, and Nancy Nguyen of API Pennsylvania. They shared their stories about how they got to where they are, how they built momentum and support, and what’s next for them and their organizations.

  • In December, we were joined by freshmen legislators Rep. Nancy Guenst, Rep. Regina Young, and Rep. Jessica Benham. They shared with us their experiences in their first year in Harrisburg, and their re-election plans for 2022.

  • Also in December, we hosted a special evening event with leaders from the PA HDCC and SDCC, including House Leader Rep. Joanna McClinton; Trevor Southerland, Executive Director of the HDCC; Melanie Rose, Executive Director of the SDCC; and SDCC member Sen. Vincent Hughes.
