Former State Rep. Candidate Gwen Stoltz Joins Represent PA as Executive Director, Focusing on Organizational Growth

PHILADELPHIA, September 19, 2025—Represent PA, the only political organization in Pennsylvania focused on electing Democratic, pro-choice women candidates to the Pennsylvania state legislature, and at a time when reproductive freedom and women’s representation are under attack, Represent PA proudly welcomes Gwendolyn Stoltz as its new Executive Director.

With Gwen’s leadership, Represent PA is doubling down on its fight to elect more Democratic, pro-choice women who will transform Pennsylvania politics.

Having run in 2022 as the Represent PA-endorsed Democratic nominee for State Representative in her home district–HD-143 (Bucks County), Stoltz understands first-hand what it is like to be a woman running for the PA General Assembly.

“I know first-hand the challenges women face when they step up to run for office. I’m ready to make sure no woman runs alone—and that more Democratic, pro-choice women win the seats we need to protect our rights and our future,” Stoltz said.

A research scientist by training, Stoltz regularly advocates for electing progressive, pro-choice women across the Commonwealth. For nearly 10 years, she worked at the intersection of science and government as a science writer and a public servant for EPA and PaDEP, focused on clean air and water.

Together, we’ll continue building the women-powered movement that has already changed the face of the Pennsylvania legislature—and we’re just getting started.

Represent PA

Getting its start in 2014, Represent PA helps progressive women claim their seat at the table. Represent PA focuses on investing in strong democratic women candidates for the Pennsylvania House and Senate, leading the way in PA for women to create a reflective Democracy. We are building our “mutual fund” for elections – raising money, analyzing races and candidates – to invest where we can challenge the status quo. Today, Represent PA focuses on paving the way for progressive women so that tomorrow those voices will shape the government.
