Represent PA congratulates 23 women on winning their state races

Candidate Spotlight: Mary Popovich

Mary Popovich was born and raised in district 58 in southwestern Pennsylvania. She wants to use her 12 years of experience in local government to fight for her hometown in Harrisburg. Mary has volunteered with the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the American Heart Association and the West Newtown Emergency Management Agency. For nine years she has been the first female mayor of Newtown. Mary is looking forward to working for and with the community that she loves so much. She is committed to securing healthcare, equal pay for equal work and job security. Mary believes her community’s biggest challenges are unfair district lines, big money and corporate influence in local elections
