Gabby Richards is a creative communications professional with a passion for taking on the tough challenges. With a robust background in politics and digital communications, as both a spectator and consultant, Gabby is dedicated to giving a voice to those trying to make a difference by helping them share their message, get elected and succeed.

Gabby’s experience in public relations and advocacy is unique: she’s worked with Big Ten athletic programs, nationally recognized organizations and on a wide-range of statewide and municipal campaigns.

Prior to starting Persist, Gabby spearheaded the digital advocacy department of a Pennsylvania based public relations firm, laying the foundation for advocacy campaigns to utilize social media to mobilize and engage audiences.


Gabby is a graduate of Penn State’s College of Communications, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Gabby is a Northeast PA native, the Program Manager of Dress for Success Luzerne County and a volunteer speech and debate coach.
